This is our project 6, our task was to design our own logo of the business of our favorite thing to do. For me, I love to play basketball, so I though of a training program to help people to get better in basketball. For this project, we can use any tools we want to as long as we know how to use them. I have used mostly vector shapes, the pen tool, and the text tool. This skill might help us in the future because their might be one day that my future company need a new logo and I can create the best logo and get credits for it.
First, I drew 3 logos out on the paper considering the graphic design principles. Then choose the best one that I have drew and draw it again with Photoshop. I used the vector shapes to create the circles and the rectangles first. I then give them a good looking color. I used the line tool to make the net under the rim. I used the pen tool to create the curve lines for the basketball. I cut the backboard into 4 pieces with the polygon tool of 3 sides. And lastly, I used the text tool to write the title of my program.

Lab 9 Brushes
This is my lab 9 for my visual design class. This is a simple lab, our task is to put the background into 35 section and draw anything with different 34 brushes at the first 34 boxes and leave one for the lab name, my name, and the date. This lab is fun, we can use any brush tools we want, and there are so many brushes after we added all the brushes from Photoshop together. I have used different brush tools, the type tool, and the line tool to complete my lab. This lab is helpful, because I had learn how to use different brushes and get familiar with them, so I can draw a lot of things with them.First, set up a new file with 300 resolution. View - Grid to get the outline of where to draw the lines with the line tool. Use the line tool to draw on the grid and create 35 boxes. Start drawing in each boxes with different brushes in different colors and leave the ones that I like. Change the ones that don't look as good. And last, type in the name for each brush that I have used on top of them and write my name, lab name, and the date at the last box by using the horizontal text tool.

Lab 8 Vector Shapes
In this lab, we are using Photoshop to create shapes and labeling all of them. In this case we are using all of the shape tool in Photoshop, making 23 shapes and putting each into different sections. This may sound very easy but as I try to work on it was not. They have to be good looking and meaningful and there are just to many options to choose from, which make me don't known which to choose. This may be very useful in our future because this can help us make all kinds of shapes in Photoshop and maybe even creating pictures or images out of all those shapes that we can use, also we can get more familiar with it so it doesn't take to much time to create shapes.
First, I opened a new file. Fit it on the screen. Then start using all the shape tools such as the rectangular tool, rounded rectangular tool, ellipse tool, polygon tool, line tool, and the custom tool. Each of these tools does exactly what it sounds line, but the polygon tool can create any shapes form by 3-100 sides and the custom tools has thousands of different shapes to choose from. When can also change thing adding or subtracting different areas of the shapes that were already created. Also we can use any type of hues on the shapes to make is look better. So I put all the simple shapes and some custom shapes to fill in my all my 23 sections and left 1 to write my name, date, class, and the lab number.

Lab 7 Filter
This is our Lab 7, in this lab, we are working with filters in Photoshop. We need to make 6 images with different kinds of filters. Mostly from the gallery. We can use any filters we want as long as you can still see its original image and the shapes. But we have to make them look nice and meaningful. This lab is helpful, because it teach us a lot of ways to give a filter to an image, which makes it look better and stand out more.
First we choose two of our pictures that we took with the camera from web design class. Both should have a object and one should be a person/people. So I choose a picture of 2 of my friends and a picture of flowers. Duplicate the flower into 5 picture.put them in place, make them organized. Then I use liquify to make the effect above for the first picture on the top left. I later used the glass, mosaic tiles, poster edges, rough pastels, and dry brush as my filters for each of the flowers. I used the text tool to write down each type of filters I have used under each picture. Lastly, I have used the cloud filter with black color to make the background look like a dark sky. I did this because all of the picture that I took was in a sunny day, so the dark sky will make them stand out more and create more contrast to them.
