Lab 5 Mask and the use of the Quick Mask Mode

The is our lab 5. As you can see, this lab is about layers masks of Photoshop from the title. I have create an bubble head effect on the picture we took in class with my partner using quick mask mode. Our objective is to create an creative bubble head picture with the picture of me and my partner, and switch our heads on each others' body. This skill can help us to know how to use the quick mask mode, so later when we need to work on something similar, we can just do the same thing so it does'n't change the original image.

First, I click on quick mask mode and highlight the face with the brush tool. Then I click on the quick mask mode again to make a selection. Duplicate a new layer from the original image, then click add vector mask to create a mask for the face. Do the same thing to the other face. After that, switch the heads and make them bigger so it look like a bubble head. This is relevant to web design because sometimes, you need to create things and you don't want to get things wrong, you can use the layer masks to prevent that so your original image will never get changed.
